Young and talented, percussionist Claire Litzler is at the threshold of a promising musical career.
Winner of the 1st Prize at the International Snare Drum Competition « Santangello », she regularly performs with many professional orchestras, including the Philharmonic Orchestra of Strasbourg, Mulhouse Symphonic Orchestra, Mannheim Philharmonic Orchestra, French Youth Orchestra etc. She has played with the Percussions de Strasbourg (at the renown contemporary music festival MUSICA) and with the NOCO Music Ensemble (Emmanuel Sejourné and Philippe Geiss).

In 2013, she won the second prize and the public prize at the prestigious Ludwig Albert marimba competition, in duo with Ryoko Kondo.

She also played vibes several times as a soloist with Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra and is regurlarly invited to play and give master classes across the globe (Tomarimbado Festival - Portugal, Patagonia percussion Festival - Argentinia…)
Claire Litzler began her musical education at the age of five at the Conservatory of Saint-Louis, Alsace. She started with the piano, but discovered her love of percussions at the age of twelve, when she decided to join a brass band. She enrolled in the percussion class of the conservatory and started to perform with many music associations, marching bands and wind orchestras in Alsace.
In year 2007 she won several prizes at national music competitions, including 1st prize in Marimba at the NSEW Competition (North of Switzlerland) and  1st Prize in Marimba at the Altishofen Competition (Switzerland). That same year she was awarded a « Prix National d’Excellence" in Marching Snare Drum at the audition organized by the French Brass Band Union.
In year 2010, she graduated in Percussions from the Conservatory of Strasbourg with the highest honors (Mention Très Bien à l'Unanimité), and continued to study with Emmanuel Sejourné, Denis Riedinger and Stephane Fougeroux from 2010 to 2014. She obtained her bachelor in Musicology, her DE (Teaching National Diploma) as well as the DNSPM (Superior National Diploma) at Strasbourg Conservatory. She currently continues her musical studies in Master pedagogie at Bern Conservatory (Switzerland). 
In parallel to her performing career and conservatory education, Ms Litzler teaches percussion at the Conservatory of Saint-Louis (France) and at « Bischofszell Musikschule » (Switzerland)
