Keiko Kotoku is an award winning marmibist from Japan, who currently resides in Chiapas Mexico. She has traveled the world playing festivals, concertos and giving clinics. She is currently professor of the department of Marimba and Percussion in the University of Science and Arts of Chiapas (UNICACH) in Chiapas State of Mexico.

Next week during PASIC 2016 Keiko Kotoku's signature marimba series will be displayed and put to the test by percussionists from around the world.

KEIKO KOTOKU MARIMBA MALLETS

A new series developed for International Marimba Artist Keiko Kotoku. This series intended for the serious marimba player who is playing a diverse range of musical styles. Not overly heavy, perfectly balanced, clean attacks throughout the instrument while being legato enough for rolling at any dynamic level.
