Chien Jen-Ting and Chien Jen-Yu

Twincussion was founded by twin brothers Chien Jen-Ting and Chien Jen-Yu. As they grew up playing music together, percussion music became their common language! Percussion duo requires both performers to work together like a well-oiled machine. With the inborn rapport of twins and their experience working together over the long term, the pair present a new face in percussion. The brothers paired up in 2009 to take part in the International Percussion Competition of Luxembourg, and in 2010 they won the Chamber Music Competition of the Taipei National University of the Arts.

The duo’s performances have whisked them away on tours outside of Taiwan: they have played at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, the Toho Gakuen School of Music, Musashino Academia Musicae, and Chapman University in California. They have also received repeated invitations to serve as percussionists for the National Taiwan University Chorus. In June 2014 they clinched the Grand Honorable Mention ( Second Place ) award at the Southern California International Marimba Competition, in July 2016 they got First prize in Ensemble category of International Percussion Competition in Italy. 2016 they were invited perform with WPG in PASIC showcase concert in Indianapolis. Now they both study at The Royal Danish Academy Of Music - Soloist Class.
