Born in April 1988 André Wittmann grew up in Geisenhausen (Bavaria/Germany). His first drumming lessons are given at the age of 9 years. Since 2002 he plays in the indie - space rock band pandoras.box. In the following years he took part in various teachers with very different musical focuses.
As a member of the YouthJazzOrchestra (LJJO) Bavaria, he has a pronounced inclination to jazz, but also classical drums - always searching for new sounds and noises - being taught by Christian Obermeier (Rundfunkorchester Bayerischer Rundfunk) and Jörg Hannabach (Munich Philharmonic).
This diversity of influences is responsible for Andrés's range of stylistics and the openness to newness.
With 17 worn first walking attempts with electronic music, the interest in composition with computers, synthesizers and effect devices is unmanned.
In February 2013 André completed his Bachelor of Music at the Lübeck Music Academy with Johannes Fischer with the main drums and timpani with top marks. Since 2014 he has been working towards his Masters Degree at the MH Lübeck, where he also developed multimedial compositions under the direction of Alexander Schubert and Sascha Lemke.
